Behavior adapts to the sector! Spins 20% faster in Neon Expanse. In deeper space, flying through them drastically slows your momentum!
(Cyber Grid) Colliding with these ricochets you away and triggers a brief slow-motion Reflex window to save yourself!
(The Void) These spectral anchors shift in and out of reality. When they begin to blink and flash red, launch immediately before you are dropped!
(The Void) Gravity wells. If untethered, they will drag you in. If tethered, the gravity pulls your ship until your tether SNAPS!
(The Void) An ultra-rare anomaly. Grab it for 7.5 seconds of total invincibility, insane height, and pure joy.
(Quantum) Anchors exist in two places at once. When you tether, they collapse to one position randomly. Plan for uncertainty!
(Quantum) Two linked anchors. Landing on one destroys its twin. Think ahead before you commit!
(Quantum) Mystery collectibles that are both coin and flare until observed. Get close to reveal their true nature.
(Quantum) Rare power-up. Phase through all obstacles and hazards. No speed boost, just pure survival.
Score boosters! Collecting consecutive diamonds without dropping builds a massive Chain Multiplier.
Extreme danger! Hitting a flare instantly pulls the advancing fire wall much closer to you.

What We Collect
Cosmic Sling stores your game progress (scores, upgrades, cosmetics, achievements) locally in your browser using localStorage. No personal information is collected during free play.
PRO Purchases
If you purchase PRO, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We receive your email address and a transaction ID to verify your purchase. We do not store or have access to your credit card details.
Leaderboards
If you submit scores to our leaderboard, we store your chosen display name and score. No real name or email is publicly displayed.
Analytics
We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (e.g., session count, popular sectors) to improve gameplay balance. This data cannot identify individual users.
Cookies
Cosmic Sling uses localStorage only. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
Children's Privacy
Cosmic Sling is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
Data Deletion
You can delete all local game data at any time using the "Wipe Save Data" option in the game menu. For account-related data deletion requests, contact us at privacy@cosmicsling.com.

1. Acceptance
By playing Cosmic Sling, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the game.
2. The Game
Cosmic Sling is a browser-based arcade game. The free version provides full gameplay across four sectors. The PRO upgrade unlocks additional content for a one-time fee.
3. PRO Purchases
PRO is a one-time purchase of $2.99 USD processed through Stripe. All sales are final, except where required by applicable law. Refund requests can be made within 14 days of purchase by contacting support@cosmicsling.com.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to: manipulate game data to gain unfair leaderboard advantage; use bots, scripts, or automated tools; attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or disrupt game services.
5. Leaderboards
We reserve the right to remove scores that appear fraudulent or manipulated. Display names must not contain offensive, hateful, or inappropriate content.
6. Intellectual Property
All game content, including code, artwork, audio, and design, is the property of the Cosmic Sling team. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
7. Disclaimer
Cosmic Sling is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for data loss, including lost save data, or service interruptions.
8. Modifications
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the game after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
